Job Description The Manager of Statistical Programming is a strategic role which guides a team of Statistical Programmers in the research and development of new pharmaceutical products.

This role is responsible for leading statistical programming activities for a specific compound, indication, or therapeutic area in early development. The Manager must effectively interface with Statistics, Data Sciences, Medical Writing, Regulatory Publishing, and Clinical Operations. Responsibilities Leads statistical programming activities for a therapeutic area or compound in early development.

Manages a team of statistical programmers and resource planning. Ensures timely deliverables, adherence to quality processes, and project consistency. Develops SAS programs for ADaM data sets following CDISC standards.

Develops SAS programs for Tables, Listings, and Figures. Ensures consistency of ADaM data sets across studies and data integration. Creates documentation for regulatory filings, including reviewer guides and data definition documents.

Leads the development of standard SAS Macros and SOPs. Provides oversight and mentoring to team members. Qualifications MS in Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field with 8+ years of relevant experience, or BS with 10+ years.

Leadership experience in statistical programming teams. Deep understanding of SAS programming and drug development processes. Knowledge of CDISC standards.

Understanding of regulatory filings. Strong communication skills. Ability to estimate effort accurately for programming activities.
