Though counselors work from home, they are integral members of our outpatient community health clinic team. • Conduct thorough initial assessments and evaluations to create tailored treatment plans for clients, ensuring each plan addresses their unique needs.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy for individuals, couples, families, and groups.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation in compliance with ethical guidelines and legal requirements, using our electronic medical record (EMR) systems effectively.
• Collaborate regularly with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and holistic care for clients.
• Stay informed about advancements in mental health and attend workshops to enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge.
• Participate in team-based decision-making and case reviews to optimize client care strategies.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Gotham Enterprises, you will work with a diverse clientele ranging from young adults to seniors, addressing various issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Your role is crucial in providing support to individuals and families navigating mental health struggles through tailored therapeutic approaches.

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical counseling experience, ideally within an outpatient or community health setting.
• Strong understanding of ethical guidelines and legal regulations pertinent to counseling practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients from different backgrounds.
• Proficient in the use of electronic medical record (EMR) systems and relevant counseling software.

• Specialization in trauma-informed care, substance abuse counseling, family therapy, or couples counseling.
• Experience in working within a multidisciplinary team and demonstrating the ability to collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals.

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with the counselor's experience and client caseload.
