We are seeking a passionate and driven Junior Java Engineer to join our Risk Engineering team. In this role, you'll contribute to building and maintaining backend services that power critical risk detection and mitigation workflows in our payments platform. This is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate or an early-career developer to work on systems that have real-world financial impact, helping to safeguard transactions and prevent fraud.
What You'll Do
• Collaborate with senior engineers to design, build, and maintain Java-based services that detect and minimize risk in payment processing.
• Work on real-time systems that identify potentially fraudulent activity and enforce risk policies.
• Help improve the scalability, reliability, and observability of risk-related microservices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team discussions around architecture and design.
• Assist in writing and maintaining automated tests to ensure high system reliability.

What We're Looking For
