Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate patient needs, enabling the development of effective, personalized treatment plans.
  • Utilize evidence-based interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, in individual, couples, and family therapy sessions.
  • Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups that foster community and provide patients with strategies to manage their mental health challenges.
  • Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
  • Provide crisis intervention to support patients during mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate and appropriate responses during critical situations.
  • Educate patients and their families about mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and available community resources, empowering them to take charge of their mental health journey.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, adhering to best practices for comprehensive patient record-keeping.
  • Engage actively in case consultations and team meetings while participating in ongoing professional development and training initiatives.
  • Stay informed about the latest research, therapeutic techniques, and trends in the mental health field to integrate new knowledge into practice and enhance patient care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Mental Health Therapist at Gotham Enterprises Ltd, you will serve a diverse client base, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. Qualifications
  • A masterโ€™s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW-C, LCPC, or LCMFT in the state of Maryland.
  • In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders, evidenced-based treatment modalities, and therapeutic approaches.
  • Proficiency in conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and creating effective treatment plans.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering both individual and group therapy to a range of populations.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and listening skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate with team members.
  • Commitment to upholding professional ethics and maintaining appropriate boundaries.
  • Comfort with electronic health record (EHR) systems and various technology platforms essential for remote operations.

Preferred Experience
  • Experience in outpatient settings or community mental health clinics.
