• Conduct initial assessments and evaluations to develop tailored therapeutic strategies for each client, addressing their individual needs and circumstances.
• Provide evidence-based therapies to diverse groups, including individuals, couples, and families, utilizing approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy.
• Document all clinical interactions meticulously in electronic medical records (EMR) systems, ensuring compliance with legal, ethical, and regulatory standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, attending workshops and training sessions to stay updated on the latest mental health research and practices.
• Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals across various disciplines to ensure holistic and integrated care for our clients.

You will work primarily with individuals and families in conditions of vulnerability or those with limited access to mental health services. This includes clients facing a range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. Your role is vital in breaking down barriers to care and increasing access to essential mental health services for our community.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting is essential.
• Proficient in utilizing EMR software and comfortable with technology-driven therapy platforms.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize and establish rapport with a diverse clientele.
• A solid understanding of legal and ethical standards governing mental health practice.

• Specializations in family therapy, couples therapy, substance abuse treatment, or trauma-informed care are highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team environment.
• Experience in community health settings or with underserved populations is a plus.

• The annual salary for this role ranges from $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience and client caseload.
