• Directly engage as a clinician with assigned clients in both remote settings and community outreach, focusing on those with major mental illness and severe emotional disorders.
• Develop and maintain strong rapport, trust, and open communication with clients and team members to ensure optimal care delivery.
• Participate actively in a multidisciplinary team, contributing towards common goals through collaboration and shared efforts.
• Implement evidence-based clinical assessments, conduct screenings, and create integrated care plans tailored to clients’ specific needs.
• Provide brief, focused preventatives, treatment, and recovery services for clients, supporting them through their mental health challenges.
• Assist in crisis intervention efforts when applicable, ensuring safety protocols are adhered to at all times.
• Maintain ethical standards and adhere to the organization’s code of conduct while enhancing your skills through ongoing professional development.
• Monitor and assess client progress, ensuring timely completion of required documentation and data submissions, while managing caseloads effectively.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and committees aimed at enhancing service delivery within the agency.

Your work will primarily focus on clients facing severe emotional disorders and mental health challenges, many of whom belong to under-served populations. You will be providing essential services to individuals often with complex needs, advocating for their choices and empowering them to navigate their circumstances effectively. Your diverse subjective engagement will allow you to serve clients from various backgrounds, ensuring their traditions and beliefs are respected and incorporated into their care plans.

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
• A valid and active LCSW license in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical social work setting, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in mental health or hospice care.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate with colleagues.
• Demonstrated understanding of mental health issues and a patient-centered approach to care.

• Experience working with diverse populations and under-served communities.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and outcomes-based treatment methodologies.
• Previous experience in hospice or palliative care settings is a plus.

The salary range for this position is USD 70,000 – 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
