Work Environment

This role is entirely remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from home while actively engaging with clients and colleagues. Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessments and therapy to clients experiencing severe mental illness and emotional disorders, addressing their unique needs with evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, participating in case reviews and strategy sessions to enhance service delivery and monitor patient progress.
• Conduct brief, developmentally appropriate screenings and refer clients for comprehensive assessments when necessary.
• Develop, implement, and manage integrated care plans that facilitate access to appropriate resources and services for clients and their families.
• Stay actively involved in crisis intervention efforts, providing immediate support and counseling as needed.
• Carry a caseload focusing on individual therapy, group sessions, and family therapy, while ensuring clients receive the necessary interventions aligned with their treatment goals.
• Maintain compliance with professional ethical standards and organizational policies, ensuring confidentiality and safety in all client interactions.
• Document all clinical interactions accurately and timely, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to quality assurance protocols.
• Stay informed about developments in mental health care and social work, continually updating skills and approaches to best serve clients.
• Engage in on-call duties during and after program hours as assigned, providing support when urgent mental health needs arise.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily serves clients within our hospice center, many of whom may be facing complex mental health challenges due to chronic illness, grief, or transitions in care. The LCSW will play a pivotal role in addressing not only the psychological impacts of their conditions but also helping families navigate difficult emotional landscapes during end-of-life care. This unique focus requires sensitivity, compassion, and an understanding of the holistic needs of clients.

Qualifications

• Mandatory: Current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license.
• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, ideally in hospice, palliative care, or community mental health settings.
• Demonstrated skills in individual and group therapy methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a hospice or palliative care environment.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and experience in documentation for clinical care.
• Proficiency in diverse therapeutic approaches and culturally competent care.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
