Key Responsibilities

• Fulfill comprehensive psychosocial assessments by gathering detailed information regarding clients' mental health concerns, strengths, and resources necessary for effective treatment planning.
• Provide therapeutic interventions including individual, family, and group therapy through evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care.
• Develop personalized treatment plans with measurable goals and interventions to address the specific needs of each client.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated, holistic care.
• Conduct crisis interventions and risk assessments, providing safety planning to help clients navigate immediate obstacles effectively.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with ethical and legal standards to ensure a comprehensive continuum of care.
• Lead group therapy sessions and psychoeducation classes that empower clients and provide essential knowledge about mental health and recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The client population served by our detox center consists of individuals grappling with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues. Our focus is on fostering resilience and empowering clients from diverse backgrounds, ensuring they receive personalized care that meets their unique circumstances and recovery goals.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health or outpatient setting, specifically with clientele facing substance use issues.
• Strong foundation in evidence-based therapeutic practices and a commitment to continuous learning to stay updated with best practices in mental health treatment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills that facilitate building rapport with clients and working effectively within a team.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in crisis intervention, risk assessment, and managing clients in a detox environment.
• Familiarity with digital therapy tools, telehealth communication systems, and electronic health records to maintain client information efficiently.
• Previous experience providing training or support to less experienced staff or interns is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
