(Only QUALIFIED Healthcare Professionals accepted) Mental Health Counselor/Therapist (Remote) - Vivo HealthStaff Inc. is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervising Clinician on behalf of a non-profit organization based in California. Set your own schedule!
This is a leadership role designed for a seasoned clinical professional who is passionate about community mental health and dedicated to shaping the next generation of practitioners. In this role, you will be instrumental in guiding clinical interns and associates, ensuring the highest standards of patient care, and maintaining strict compliance with state board regulations. Key Responsibilities
Clinical Mentorship: Provide high-quality, reflective clinical supervision to pre-licensed interns and associates in accordance with California state board regulations.
Meeting Leadership: Facilitate and lead structured individual and group supervision meetings on a weekly basis.
Quality Assurance: Review, audit, and sign off on intern clinical documentation, including treatment plans, progress notes, and psychosocial assessments.
Protocol Adherence: Strictly follow, implement, and train staff on clinical supervision protocols, ensuring all ethical and legal standards are met.
Performance Evaluation: Monitor the professional development of interns, providing constructive feedback and completing required evaluation paperwork for their respective academic programs or licensing boards.
Required Qualifications:
Licensure: Must hold an active, unencumbered California license as an LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, PsyD, MD, or DO.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years of post-licensure clinical experience.
Supervisory Experience: Prior experience formally supervising clinical interns or pre-licensed associates is strictly required. Must meet all BBS, BOP, or Medical Board requirements to provide clinical supervision in the state of California.
Technical Skills: Ability to efficiently lead meetings, manage schedules, and maintain meticulous supervision records.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and teaching abilities with a clear commitment to fostering a supportive, educational environment.
