The Landscape Architect Project Manager is responsible for leading projects from initial concept through construction, ensuring alignment of teams, resources, and project goals throughout the entire lifecycle. This is a full-time position paid bi-weekly on a salary basis.

Responsibilities
    Lead and manage landscape architecture projects from concept through construction, ensuring design excellence, quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Establish and communicate project vision, goals, priorities, and expectations while aligning multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
  • Direct project execution by overseeing scope, schedule, budget, and quality, tracking progress, identifying risks, and resolving issues.
  • Manage project financial performance, including fees, expenses, labor utilization, billing, and accounts receivable.
  • Coordinate and lead multidisciplinary teams and consultants to deliver integrated, high-quality design solutions.
  • Plan and manage team resources, providing leadership, mentorship, and fostering a productive and collaborative work environment.
  • Develop and present compelling design strategies, graphics, and presentations for clients, stakeholders, and public meetings.
  • Ensures application of Parkhill's quality assurance and quality control standards throughout all project phases.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication, responsiveness, and successful project delivery.
  • Lead the development and negotiation of contracts, fee agreements, and amendments in coordination with project leadership.
  • Represent the firm at industry events and pursue new business opportunities through networking and client engagement.
  • Promote sustainable design practices and innovative solutions that address environmental and community needs.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program.
  • Registered as a Professional Landscape Architect.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of professional experience in landscape architecture, including team and project management.
  • Proven experience with large-scale and complex projects across a variety of sectors, such as urban districts, campuses, and public spaces.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing creative and innovative design work.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of sustainable design principles, construction methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey design concepts verbally and graphically.
  • Experience in business development, proposal writing, and client presentations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project scope, schedules, budgets, fee structures contracts in support of successful project delivery.
  • Strong working knowledge of project financial management, including labor utilization, revenue, billing, and resource planning.
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary project teams and coordinating internal and external stakeholders.
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Familiarity with Civil 3D and SketchUp.
    • Demonstrated thought leadership in landscape architecture through public speaking or publications.
    • Proficiency with project management and financial systems; experience with Deltek Vantagepoint and MS Project
    • Professional licensure (e.g., PE, RA, RLA, or equivalent).
