Heritage Wellness Clinic is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Paterson, New Jersey. This remote position is an opportunity to provide outpatient therapy to patients, specifically those and their families affected by cancer diagnoses. • Our work setting is a climate-controlled office environment, designed for comfort and productivity. While the role is primarily remote, there will be daily interaction with team members and other healthcare professionals to enhance collaborative care efforts.

• Perform comprehensive assessments to evaluate the mental health needs of patients, applying tools such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders to inform diagnostic processes.

• Develop and implement individualized care plans that reflect cultural diversity and the unique needs of each patient, ensuring engagement from family members where appropriate.

• Regularly monitor and assess patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment strategies to maximize effectiveness and patient safety.

• Maintain meticulous treatment records and documentation in compliance with state regulations and facility policies, utilizing the latest clinical technologies for efficient record-keeping.

• Foster collaborative relationships with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to facilitate comprehensive treatment planning and effective communication.

• Coordinate referrals and effectively liaise with other treatment providers to streamline care delivery.

• Participate in providing mentorship and educational opportunities for students, interns, and other team members within the clinic.

• Engage in peer reviews, clinical collaborations, and assist in coaching to further develop team skills and enhance service delivery.

The primary patient demographic consists of individuals and families navigating the complex emotional and psychological landscape associated with cancer diagnoses. As an LCSW within our clinic, you will facilitate therapeutic interventions that address both immediate mental health needs and long-term coping strategies. Your work will directly impact the holistic well-being of patients, improving their quality of life during challenging times.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic practices and the ability to tailor interventions based on individual patient needs.

• Experience working with oncology patients or in a hospice setting is highly desirable but not mandatory.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and clinical documentation standards is a plus.

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement savings plans, and a variety of wellness programs.
