About Our Client:

Addison Group is hiring an Associate Customer Service Representative for one of our manufacturing and distribution clients. This role supports a growing customer service team focused on delivering reliable, high-quality support to customers and internal partners.


Job Description:


Contract-to-hire opportunity for a motivated and energetic customer service professional to work in a fast-paced call center environment. The role offers potential for permanent hire to continually support the sales teams with customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a high volume of inbound customer calls while maintaining strong service standards
  • Enter, update, and maintain customer orders within an ERP system
  • Provide order status updates, shipment tracking, and proof of delivery
  • Respond to inquiries regarding returns, credits, invoices, and basic account information
  • Act as a first point of contact for common product-related questions
  • Resolve order discrepancies and customer concerns efficiently
  • Process documentation requests, credit/debit memos, and occasional credit card payments
  • Meet performance metrics and support additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience in a call center environment
  • Strong retail customer service experience with phone-based support will be also considered
  • Manufacturing, distribution, or product-based industry experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams); CRM or ERP experience preferred
    • SAP experience and using a chat feature is a plus
  • Strong computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems
  • Demonstrated job stability and comfort with phone-based customer service
  • Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and dependable work ethic

Additional Details:

  • Start Dates: 6/15 or 6/22
  • Hours: Call center operates 7:00 AM โ€“ 7:00 PM
    • Shift start times may vary (7:30 AM, 8:00 AM, 8:30 AM, 9:00 AM, or 9:30 AM)
  • Work Environment is REMOTE Monday and Friday, onsite Tues, Wed and Thurs
