Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough intake assessments and screenings for students to identify mental health needs and prioritize appropriate treatment plans tailored to their unique situations.
  • Deliver short-term individual counseling sessions as well as urgent crisis interventions, equipping students with coping strategies and resources to navigate various emotional challenges.
  • Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions and workshops focused on enhancing student resilience, addressing anxiety, and fostering self-advocacy, among other pertinent topics.
  • Collaborate with academic advisors, residential life staff, and student organizations to create a holistic support system that ensures comprehensive care for each student.

Qualifications
  • Possession of an active, unrestricted license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Clinical Psychologist, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • A relevant advanced degree, either a master's or doctorate in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
