Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health needs to formulate accurate clinical diagnoses and develop tailored treatment plans based on individual goals.
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques, ensuring each session is conducive to positive therapeutic outcomes.
  • Implement crisis intervention strategies for clients facing acute mental health crises, providing immediate support and stabilizing interventions as needed.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to ethical and legal privacy standards.
  • Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists, social workers, and healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care to clients.
  • Provide educational resources to clients and their families regarding mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources, advocating for their rights throughout the process.
  • Participate in continuous professional development opportunities, keeping abreast of the latest therapeutic practices and trends in mental health care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will focus on serving diverse client populations, including individuals from various backgrounds and with varying mental health concerns. You will work with clients dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and significant life transitions, creating customized treatment strategies that accommodate the unique cultural and personal situations of each client.

Qualifications
  • Must hold a valid license as a Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) in the state of Texas.
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related discipline is required.
  • Demonstrated clinical assessment and diagnostic skills are crucial for success in this role.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience is required, showcasing a solid foundation in therapeutic practices.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to develop rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with team members.

Preferred Experience
