We believe strongly in the importance of collaboration and communication amongst our multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed mental health assessments to determine individual client needs, formulating personalized treatment plans that reflect evidence-based interventions.
  • Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, to facilitate individual, couple, and family therapy sessions.
  • Develop and lead psychoeducational workshops and support groups that foster community engagement and address prevalent mental health issues.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and peer support specialists to create an integrated care model that addresses the holistic health of each client.
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention services and support during mental health emergencies to ensure client safety and well-being.
  • Educate clients on their mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources to promote informed decision-making.
  • Maintain thorough, confidential documentation that complies with legal and ethical standards, using advanced electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings to further develop your skills and contribute to the practice’s collective knowledge base.
  • Stay informed of current mental health research and treatment modalities to ensure best practices in clinical care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population within the El Paso community, addressing varying levels of mental health conditions among adults and adolescents. Many clients are navigating significant life transitions, trauma, and cultural challenges unique to the area. Our approach centers on inclusivity, ensuring that all clients feel understood and supported throughout their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.
  • Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Texas, with the ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with clients.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of a variety of mental health disorders and effective treatment modalities.
  • Strong skills in conducting mental health assessments and designing appropriate treatment strategies.
  • Experience delivering therapy to both individual and group settings, particularly within culturally diverse populations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication abilities to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Competence in using electronic health records and other computer applications; familiarity with telehealth platforms is beneficial.
  • A commitment to ethical practice, client confidentiality, and a dedication to continuous professional growth.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in community mental health settings or outpatient clinics is highly desirable.
  • Background in providing crisis intervention and mental health support in emergency situations.
  • Previous involvement in mentorship or supervision of interns or less experienced counselors is a plus.
  • Certification or advanced training in specialized therapeutic techniques or modalities.
