• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the mental health status of patients and their families, utilizing tools such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) to create tailored care plans.

• Monitor patient progress continuously, providing evidence-based interventions and strategies to support ongoing treatment goals and enhance patient outcomes.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including treatment records and reports, adhering to regulatory requirements to ensure quality care delivery.

• Collaborate closely with patients and their families to develop comprehensive treatment plans that address individual goals, encompassing cultural diversity and specific needs of the patient population.

• Facilitate referrals to other treatment providers, ensuring a seamless continuum of care and establishing strong partnerships with various agencies to better serve patient needs.

• Engage in educational initiatives, mentoring students and interns within the practice to foster growth and enhance clinical skills.

• Participate actively in team meetings and professional development sessions, contributing to team dynamics and supporting a culture of collaboration and feedback.

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will focus primarily on clients impacted by cancer diagnoses, offering therapeutic support that encompasses both emotional and psychological aspects of their journey. Understanding the unique challenges faced by this patient population, the LCSW will employ a holistic approach to treatment, recognizing the intersection of mental health and physical well-being.

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Nevada.

• Previous experience working with oncology patients or individuals facing chronic illnesses.

• Familiarity with evidence-based practices in mental health and outpatient therapy settings.

• Proven ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that resonate with diverse cultural backgrounds.
