What is a remote health coach internship?

A remote health coach internship is a temporary, often part-time position where interns work online to support clients in achieving their health and wellness goals. Interns typically assist with developing personalized wellness plans, providing motivation, and educating clients about nutrition, exercise, and healthy habits. The role offers hands-on experience in coaching techniques and digital health tools, often under the supervision of a certified health coach. This internship is ideal for students or recent graduates interested in health, fitness, or wellness careers and who prefer a flexible, remote work environment.

IT Operations & End-User Support
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex IT support issues across corporate and clinical teams
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of core IT systems supporting telehealth operations
  • Proactively identify operational gaps and implement improvements to reduce incidents and support friction
  • Support a distributed, remote workforce with a focus on clinician and care team workflows

Process Improvement & Documentation
  • Create and maintain clear IT documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures
  • Help mature IT Access management practices (least privilege, RBAC, just-in-time access)
  • Contribute to tooling evaluations and implementations as the organization scales

Who You Are
