To thrive in a remote game studio internship, you need foundational knowledge in game development principles, programming (often in C# or C++), and familiarity with game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine, typically supported by coursework or personal projects. Exposure to version control systems like Git and project management tools such as Jira is common, and a portfolio showcasing relevant work can be advantageous.
