This is a full-time remote position based in Everett, Washington, dedicated to providing transformative therapeutic services within a supportive community health clinic environment. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role not only in delivering high-quality psychotherapy but also in mentoring and supervising practicum students who are pursuing their clinical licensure.

About the Organization

At Marple Mental Health Psychotherapy, we believe in the significance of mental well-being and work towards creating a society where individuals can navigate their healing journeys with confidence and support. Our mission is to bridge the gap between mental health and everyday life, ensuring that our clients are not only heard but also empowered in their pursuit of personal growth. Our clinic is designed to be a haven for both clients and our dedicated team, fostering an atmosphere of collaboration, respect, and professional fulfillment.

Work Environment

As a fully remote position, this role offers a flexible work setting that is particularly well-suited for mental health professionals who value a strong work-life balance. Our community health clinic model emphasizes an outpatient approach, allowing for a focus on individual treatment plans and direct engagement with clients. Youโ€™ll have access to advanced telehealth systems that streamline service delivery while maintaining the highest therapeutic standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide weekly supervision to practicum students, guiding them through their clinical responsibilities and ensuring they meet the requisite competencies for licensure.
  • Deliver psychotherapy services tailored to the unique needs of individuals, couples, and families, employing evidence-based practices to achieve positive client outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionalsโ€”including psychiatrists, social workers, and community resourcesโ€”to develop integrated care plans that address the multifaceted needs of clients.
  • Contribute significantly to treatment plan development, ensuring each plan is individualized and reflects the client's goals and progress.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and documentation in accordance with state regulations and organizational policies.
  • Continuously engage in professional development by staying informed of the latest research findings, therapeutic techniques, and best practices in mental health care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse array of clients at various stages of their mental health journeys. Our target population includes individuals, couples, and families seeking support for issues ranging from anxiety and depression to relationship counseling and crisis intervention. This role will contribute towards enhancing the resilience and coping strategies of our clients, ensuring that they receive the affirming care they deserve.

Qualifications
  • A valid state license as a mental health professional, such as LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW is required.
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.
  • Professional liability insurance to safeguard your practice and our clients.
  • A minimum of two years clinical experience in mental health counseling, with clinical supervision experience preferred.
Preferred Experience

Experience in supervising practicum students or interns is strongly preferred, as this role involves actively mentoring the next generation of mental health professionals. Familiarity with electronic health record systems and teletherapy platforms will also enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role is competitive, with a salary range set between USD 52,000 and 100,000 yearly, based on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, and paid parental leave. You will also enjoy the flexibility of working in a supportive remote environment, complemented by strong administrative support.
