Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with volunteers, interns, and other staff members to design and promote activities that cater to the unique needs of each client.
- Establish and maintain relationships with local referral sources, including inpatient facilities and other community-based programs, to ensure a steady stream of intake referrals.
- Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans under clinical supervision, ensuring comprehensive and accurate documentation.
- Implement treatment plans in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams, adapting strategies as needed to meet client progress and needs.
- Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to provide support, guidance, and psychoeducation to clients and their families.
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO, Medicaid, and Division of Behavioral Health standards, assisting in the organization's accreditation and certification efforts.
- Participate actively in staff meetings, case conferences, and training sessions to foster professional development and unit cohesion.
- Provide advocacy for clients by connecting them with community resources and services that may assist in addressing social determinants of health.
You will work primarily with clients experiencing a variety of mental health concerns, ranging from anxiety and depression to more complex issues related to perinatal mental health. This role requires a compassionate approach to care, emphasizing the importance of wellness during and after pregnancy. You will play a crucial role in supporting clients through challenging times, fostering resilience and a sense of empowerment.
Qualifications- A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
- Possession of a valid state license to practice as a mental health counselor (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW).
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team within an outpatient mental health agency.
- Exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to listen and empathize while conveying information clearly.
- History free from medical malpractice claims, as verified by a third party.
- Prior experience working with perinatal populations.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and tracking client progress.
- Experience leading group therapy sessions or psychoeducational workshops.
The salary range for this position is between USD 50,000 to 70,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive compensation, we provide:
