Position Overview

We are actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our esteemed virtual therapy team at Groups Recover Together, LLC. This full-time position enables you to deliver therapeutic services to clients in Ontario, California, through a secure telehealth platform, enhancing accessibility and convenience for your patients. Work Environment

This position is designed for flexibility and utmost convenience; it will be conducted entirely via telehealth, allowing you to connect with clients from the comfort of your own home. You will work primarily from Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, engaging with clients on an interactive telehealth platform that ensures confidentiality and security during sessions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct virtual therapy sessions for clients, utilizing telehealth technology to provide impactful mental health counseling.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address the unique challenges and needs of each client. This may involve goal setting, therapeutic interventions, and adjustments based on client progress.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed, ensuring that clients receive immediate assistance during moments of heightened distress.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation for all client interactions, including treatment plans, progress notes, and communications, in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Continuously enhance professional knowledge by staying up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices in mental health therapy and participating in relevant training opportunities.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your practice will focus on individuals from diverse backgrounds experiencing mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. You will have the unique opportunity to facilitate healing and growth for clients seeking to improve their quality of life through tailored counseling approaches. Qualifications
  • A valid California license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT, or the eligibility to obtain licensure.
  • A Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related field.
  • The ability to effectively communicate and build rapport with clients in a remote setting, employing empathetic listening and engagement techniques.
  • Proven experience working with a diverse clientele and a strong understanding of cultural competence in mental health practices.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience providing mental health therapy.
  • Familiarity with telehealth technology and experience using digital platforms for client interactions.
  • Experience in developing treatment plans that reflect current best practices and strategies for managing various mental health conditions.
Compensation and Benefits
