Trillium Health Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. As we operate a Detox Center, our remote support plays a critical role in ensuring clients receive ongoing therapy, crisis intervention, and continuous management of their mental health. Team collaboration and communication tools will be utilized to maintain a cohesive unit aimed at achieving optimal patient outcomes.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Trillium Health Center, you will have multi-faceted responsibilities that include:

• Directly engaging with clients, both in office and virtually, to assess and address their symptoms related to major mental illnesses and emotional disorders.
• Collaborating effectively with other team members to further collective goals focused on patient health and treatment effectiveness.
• Engaging with diverse clients in a respectful manner, acknowledging and valuing their unique backgrounds and experiences.
• Operating within the organizational frameworks to ensure compliance with ethical guidelines and financial regulations.
• Creating integrated care plans and facilitating connections to necessary services, while ensuring effective communication with clients and their families.
• Administering therapeutic techniques through individual, group, and family counseling to support a variety of client needs.
• Conducting regular safety assessments and addressing any potential hazards to maintain a secure treatment environment.
• Performing timely documentation and data reporting to track patient progress and outcomes.
• Providing on-call support as needed, during program hours, to assist with any immediate client crises.
• Participating in quality improvement committees to enhance service delivery and organizational performance.

Your primary focus in this role will be supporting patients with severe mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders. You will be instrumental in navigating these clients through their treatment, empowering them to take control of their recovery journey while addressing their individual needs. Your expertise will be pivotal in creating an atmosphere of safety and trust, essential for effective therapeutic engagement.

To succeed in this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications:

• Possession of a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field.
• An active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) designation in the state of Maryland.
• Expertise in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning tailored to varying patient populations.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Outstanding organizational and planning abilities to manage caseload effectively.
• Competency in addressing age-specific or specialty healthcare issues throughout treatment.

While a minimum of two years’ experience in clinical practice is preferred, candidates who can demonstrate passion and expertise in mental health care are encouraged to apply. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a valuable addition and highly regarded.
