Position Overview

Trillium Health Center is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dedicated team. This full-time, remote position is critical for providing exceptional care to clients experiencing mental health challenges within our detox center. Work Environment

This role offers the flexibility of remote work while engaging actively with clients virtually. As part of our detox center operations, you will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and support staff. The remote setting enables you to reach clients where they are most comfortable, while still providing high-quality mental health and recovery support.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized clinical assessments and create tailored treatment plans for assigned clients, focusing on those with major mental illnesses or severe emotional disorders.
• Conduct brief, evidence-based screenings and arrange for comprehensive assessments as needed to ensure effective treatment protocols are in place.
• Deliver a range of therapeutic interventions including individual, group, and family therapy, while maintaining a caseload that reflects the clinical demands of the detox center.
• Engage in crisis intervention and management, applying appropriate techniques to support clients in urgent situations.
• Participate proactively as a team member, aligning with the goals and values of Trillium Health Center by sharing knowledge and best practices to improve client outcomes.
• Monitor treatment progress and document client interactions and outcomes in compliance with organizational standards and ethical guidelines.
• Assist in coordinating integrated care efforts among various service providers, ensuring seamless access to resources for clients and their families.
• Facilitate a safe environment by identifying and addressing potential risks, and reporting unsafe situations promptly.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge, contributing to improved practices within the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients typically experience complex mental health challenges exacerbated by substance use, in addition to other social determinants that influence their health. As an LCSW at Trillium Health Center, you will be working with diverse populations, requiring sensitivity to different cultural backgrounds, beliefs, and situations that inform their healthcare experiences. High-quality care that respects the dignity and agency of each client is paramount.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is mandatory.
• Active LCSW licensure in California is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, preferably working with diverse populations.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage clients and collaborate within the team environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines efficiently.
• Knowledge of age-related issues and developmental needs across various populations served is essential.

Preferred Experience

• Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish is highly desirable and will enhance communication with a broader client base.
• Prior experience in detox or substance use fields is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

• The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and skills.
