• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations to assess client needs, strengths, and challenges, ensuring that each individual's therapeutic journey is personalized.
• Engage in crisis intervention strategies, providing immediate support to clients in distress while coordinating appropriate follow-up care.
• Lead family and group therapy sessions, fostering an inclusive environment that encourages shared experiences and collaborative healing.
• Participate actively in multidisciplinary case conferences to effectively plan treatment strategies and ensure continuity of care for patients.
• Utilize specialized tools and methodologies for psychological testing when required, providing valuable insights that guide therapeutic decisions.
• Supervise and mentor interns or student volunteers as assigned, helping to cultivate the next generation of mental health professionals.
• Complete all necessary documentation and maintain accurate statistical records to facilitate program evaluation and reporting requirements.
• Coordinate with community stakeholders, including the Department of Corrections, to ensure effective treatment pathways and discharge planning for clients.
• Participate in clinical supervision sessions once a week, engaging in reflective practice to enhance clinical skills and improve patient outcomes.

In this role, you will primarily work with children and teenagers, as well as their families, who may be dealing with a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and interpersonal challenges. Your expertise will be vital in creating a safe and supportive environment where young clients can express themselves freely and work towards their mental health goals. • A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health discipline is required.
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California is essential.
• Strong clinical skills, including the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and their families.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating a commitment to fostering positive therapeutic relationships.
• A proactive approach to professional development and a willingness to engage in lifelong learning.

• Demonstrated experience working with children and adolescents, particularly in therapeutic settings.

The salary for this full-time remote position ranges between USD 52,000 and USD 70,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
