The team consists of approximately 15 members, including a Credentialing Supervisor and specialists focused on payer enrollment, facility credentialing, provider onboarding, and credential maintenance.

This position has been created to support increased application volume, organizational growth, and several special projects. The team is currently managing a significant increase in provider onboarding activity and credentialing requests across multiple facilities and payers.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, comfortable working in a fully remote environment, and skilled at managing large volumes of applications while maintaining detailed documentation and follow-up.

This position is heavily focused on administrative execution, data entry, documentation management, and ongoing communication with providers, facilities, and insurance payers to ensure applications move efficiently through the credentialing process.

  • Follow up with facilities and payers regarding application status
  • Maintain detailed notes and documentation within credentialing systems
  • Review and audit provider files for completeness and compliance
  • Enter credentialing data accurately into internal systems

This is a high-volume credentialing environment.

The team processes:

  • 100+ active applications at a time
  • Approximately 1,200 applications annually across a small team

  • Multiple payer enrollment and privileging activities simultaneously

Success in this role requires:

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent follow-up abilities
  • Detailed note-taking
  • Accurate documentation management
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Required Qualifications

  • Strong data entry and administrative skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Experience handling high application volumes
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with both facility credentialing and payer enrollment
  • Experience working with Medicare and Medicaid enrollment
  • Experience using credentialing software platforms
  • Experience supporting physician groups, hospitals, or ambulatory surgery centers
  • Experience with provider privileging processes
  • Experience conducting credentialing audits and quality reviews
