SpaceX is leveraging its experience building rockets and spacecraft to deploy Starlink, the world's most advanced broadband internet system. Starlink is the world's largest satellite constellation that provides fast, reliable internet to millions of users worldwide. We design, build, manufacture, and operate all parts of the system including thousands of satellites and millions of customer kits. Our customers currently include teachers in the most remote parts of the Amazon, researchers in Antarctica, digital nomads who travel via RV, emergency responders, commercial airlines, cruise lines, and residential users who live in more rural or developing areas. While users can get online within minutes almost anywhere in the world, we've only begun to scratch the surface of Starlink's potential. Engineers on the team will be hands-on, regularly interact with multiple technical disciplines, and ultimately ensure that Starlink is a global success.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead RF regulatory strategy and certification for Starlink User Terminals and Wi-Fi products across all target markets
- Own compliance to FCC, ISED, ETSI, RED, and equivalent global wireless regulations- Manage radio testing (emissions, immunity, SAR, etc.) with accredited labs
- Work directly with RF hardware and firmware teams to implement design changes required for certification
- Prepare and maintain technical files and certification applications
- Support global market access for wireless features, including new frequency bands and power levels
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, other STEM discipline
- 1+ years of experience in RF/wireless regulatory compliance and certification (internship experience is applicable)
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- 3+ years of dedicated experience in RF/wireless regulatory compliance and certification for high-volume consumer electronics, industrial equipment, or information technology equipment

- Experience running RF compliance test campaigns
- Ability to read and interpret radio standards and translate them into actionable design requirements
- Experience supporting antenna and RF layout for regulatory success
