• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patient status and the effectiveness of mental health interventions using recognized tools including the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM).
• Develop, implement, and continually adapt individualized treatment plans that encompass cultural diversity and address the specific needs and goals of each patient, particularly those affected by cancer.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to facilitate patient progress and provide necessary interventions and support.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including treatment records and reports, adhering to regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to establish a comprehensive treatment strategy tailored to each individual's needs.
• Engage in proactive patient safety measures and symptom reduction strategies to enhance patient outcomes.
• Coordinate referrals and build effective relationships with treatment providers and agencies to ensure seamless patient transitions to additional care as needed.
• Support the development of future social workers through education and mentoring of students, interns, and volunteers.
• Conduct peer reviews and participate in clinical collaboration to contribute to team development under guidance from clinical supervisors.

This position primarily serves individuals and families impacted by cancer, addressing both mental health needs and holistic care. You will play an integral role in offering therapeutic support, coping strategies, and counseling that resonate with the unique experiences of patients dealing with serious illnesses.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Experience working within outpatient settings, particularly in collaboration with oncology teams, is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to utilize evidence-based practices and therapeutic methodologies effectively.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems for maintaining patient documentation and communication.
• Strong interpersonal skills to foster meaningful relationships with patients and healthcare providers.

The annual salary for this position ranges between USD 90,000 and 105,000, complemented by a signing bonus. We offer a generous benefits package, including:
