Water Edge Counseling Services is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our innovative team as a full-time remote therapist. As a remote position, this role allows for flexibility while ensuring that you are part of a supportive and collaborative work environment. You will work closely with clinical colleagues, including Nurse Practitioners and Clinical Exercise Physiologists, to create an interconnected healthcare experience while utilizing advanced telecommunication tools. Our remote setting encourages effective communication and fosters an engaging atmosphere where ideas are shared freely, bolstering team synergy and patient care.

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ behavioral health needs, utilizing evidence-based diagnostic methods to identify symptoms and risk factors.
• Create, manage, and adapt personalized treatment plans involving regular re-evaluation to ensure they are effective and meet the evolving needs of patients.
• Provide virtual psychotherapy sessions lasting between 45 to 50 minutes, focusing on building rapport and fostering therapeutic relationships with patients.
• Implement and refine behavioral change techniques such as mindfulness and motivational interviewing to help patients achieve their goals.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design and launch Water Edge’s innovative virtual-first cardiac recovery program, ensuring that all treatment interventions align with best practices and current standards.
• Prepare detailed documentation of all patient interactions, maintaining a high standard of accuracy and compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.
• Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and stay current with advancements in behavioral health care.

The LCSW will work predominantly with patients dealing with a range of behavioral health issues in a school-based setting. Our client focus includes individuals struggling with stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions, particularly those linked to cardiac health. This role directly supports patient recovery and rehabilitation, contributing to improved outcomes through tailored therapeutic interventions.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work is required, with an active LCSW license in the state of New York.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic skills reflective of best practices in behavioral health.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to engage effectively with diverse patient populations and clinical partners.

• Experience working within integrated clinical teams with a focus on mental and physical health collaboration.
• Previous engagement with patients in a virtual care environment or familiarity with telehealth platforms.
• A background in designing or implementing innovative treatment programs, especially in cardiac rehabilitation.

The salary range for this position is USD 79,000 – 100,000 per year, complemented by a sign-on bonus. Alongside a competitive salary, we offer an extensive benefits package that includes:
