Job description

Position Summary

The Outreach Department Director Intern will support the leadership and coordination of outreach initiatives by helping manage projects, guide outreach team members, and develop strategies that increase community engagement. This position provides students with an opportunity to gain experience in leadership, communication, and nonprofit or political engagement while working with a collaborative remote team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in organizing and overseeing outreach projects and department goals.
  • Support Outreach Managers and Associates by providing guidance and helping coordinate assignments.
  • Communicate with team members and provide updates on outreach activities.
  • Maintain organized records and track project progress using Google Workspace.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support organizational initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current college student
  • Interest in communications, political science, public relations, psychology, sociology, business, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Familiarity with Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Drive, and email is preferred.
  • No previous internship or professional experience required.
