What is a remote behavior analyst intern?

A remote behavior analyst intern is a student or recent graduate who assists certified behavior analysts with behavior assessment and intervention services, typically using virtual tools and platforms. These interns often work with clients, such as children with autism or developmental disorders, under remote supervision. Responsibilities may include data collection, implementing behavior intervention plans, and participating in online meetings or trainings. The remote setting allows interns to gain practical experience in applied behavior analysis (ABA) without being physically present at the workplace.

What kinds of projects or responsibilities can I expect as a remote behavior analyst intern?

As a remote behavior analyst intern, you will typically assist with data collection, behavior intervention planning, and progress monitoring under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You may help analyze client data, participate in virtual team meetings, and contribute to the development of individualized treatment plans. Communication with supervisors and collaboration with other team members, such as therapists and caregivers, is common and often facilitated through video conferencing and digital platforms.
