Work Environment

This position allows you to work remotely while providing outpatient services to a diverse population. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs through clinical interviews and standardized screening tools to create effective treatment plans.
• Develop crisis intervention strategies that empower clients and support their emotional stability, including pre-crisis assessments and behavioral guidelines.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to formulate and implement positive behavior support plans tailored to individual client needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory standards, ensuring clear communication across all stages of the treatment process.
• Actively engage in program accreditation processes to uphold the high standards of care within the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work as an LMHC will involve diverse client populations, including individuals grappling with anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and substance use challenges. Specifically, our services cater to adults and adolescents in the Boston metropolitan area who require personalized support for their mental health and well-being. You will be instrumental in guiding clients through their recovery journeys, ensuring they feel understood and supported every step of the way.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field is required.
• Completion of a full-time clinical internship in a mental health setting, ensuring hands-on experience in real-world scenarios.
• Must be license eligible per Massachusetts state requirements to practice as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.
• A valid driver’s license in good standing will be necessary for any travel-related responsibilities.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build trustful relationships with clients through genuine empathy.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational capabilities to manage case files and treatment documentation effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in outpatient mental health services, particularly with clients managing both mental health and substance use issues.
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities such as CBT, DBT, or Motivational Interviewing.
• Proficiency in utilizing telehealth platforms to deliver therapy sessions effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers an attractive salary range of $70,000 to $100,000 per year, coupled with a sign-on bonus to welcome you to our team.
