The Program Specialist for Resettlement and Integration Services will support the work of the Resettlement & Integration Services unit to fulfill the contractual and programmatic requirements of the unit and funders. This work will be carried out through information tracking, analysis and management, reporting, network management activities and management of Global Refuge systems. The Program Specialist will work closely across programs to ensure program outcomes and needs are met. This position requires a strong skillset in data management and attention to detail with a goal of strengthening outcomes for the Global Refuge network.

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Provide administrative support to contribute to the successful achievement of contractual requirements and programmatic outcomes
  • Regularly complete data entry, tracking and analysis of network-wide data and information
  • Contribute to Global Refuge programmatic reporting, annual proposal process, and annual audits with funders
  • Assist with the regular communication and dissemination of information and resources to the Global Refuge network
  • Assist with regular quality assurance processes to ensure accurate reporting and trends tracking.
  • Review and track the submission of regular affiliate reporting and surveys to Global Refuge.
  • Maintain close relationships with other departments within Global Refuge in order to ensure continual quality reporting and improvements of systems and processes.
  • Support the maintenance of program spaces on the Global Refuge intranet and extranet with current tools, updated forms, and resources.
  • Maintain Global Refuge network and partner contacts up-to-date internally and externally.
  • Support unit activities including virtual and in-person network-wide annual conferences and activities.
  • Work collaboratively across teams and units
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in social work, social sciences, non-profit management or related field.
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in non-profit management and social services programs.
  • Experience working with refugees, immigrants or limited English speakers, preferred.
  • Ability to write and edit reports and clearly interpret technical requirements.
  • Ability to establish effective relationships with colleagues and partners.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to details.
  • Demonstrated strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word and Excel, knowledge in database management and other computer applications, required. Experience with SharePoint and Salesforce, preferred. This position will require managing several web-based platforms including the agency's extranet website.

  • Experience with and commitment to working in a very diverse workforce.
  • Ability and willingness to travel 5% of time
