Position Information
Job Title Graduate Assistant (The Big Event) Nature of Work Graduate Assistants are hired at Chadron State College to assist in meeting the vision and goals established for CSC. Strategic deployment of graduate assistant positions is essential to ensure that limited resources are utilized in a manner consistent with the philosophy of CSC. Graduate assistants provide experiential learning in select areas and to assist the individual in a successful transition to future educational and professional opportunities.

Interview and recommend undergraduate student staff for The Big Event in coordination with TBE faculty advisor
Communicate regularly with The Big Event faculty advisor
Schedule and lead all The Big Event meetings with student staff/interns
Plan and lead promotional events leading up to all The Big Event-related activities
Provide final approval of all student staff-created materials (i.e., promotional flyers, radio scripts, social media posts, etc.)
