Job Summary:

The Quality Engineer Supervisor leads quality assurance and control activities to ensure products meet defined specifications, customer requirements, and regulatory standards. This role blends hands-on quality engineering expertise with leadership responsibility, including team supervision, process improvement, lab oversight, and cross-functional collaboration.   This position reports to the Quality Manager.

What you will be doing
  • Lead, coach, and develop Quality Technicians, CMM Technicians, and Receiving Inspectors, including scheduling, attendance, and performance oversight.
  • Support development and maintenance of quality procedures, work instructions, and documentation.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce scrap, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Partner with Engineering on new and existing programs to ensure capability and quality readiness.
  • Conduct capability studies and Measurement System Analysis (MSA), including gauge R&R evaluations.
  • Perform and support internal audits to ensure compliance with ISO/TS standards.
  • Ensure accurate completion of documentation, including training records, onboarding materials, and quality reports.
What will make you successful?

Required Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in a quality role within a manufacturing site.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and influence teams in a fast-paced production driven setting.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in quality assurance and/or a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of core quality tools; PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA, PPAP, and APQP.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (SAP/S4) and statistical software (Minitab).
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, inspection techniques, and compliance standards.
