SUMMARY:

We are seeking a creative and motivated Social Media Intern to support the growth and engagement of our online communities across two distinct brands. The ideal candidate is a storyteller at heart,someone who can produce compelling, branded content that captures the lifestyle and culture of two passionate customer bases and makes our brands stand out in a crowded digital landscape.

WAGE TYPE: Hourly

FLSA Exemption: Non-exempt

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Drive engagement across social media channels and increase followers
  • Own the creation and scheduling of content across Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube from concept to publish
  • Photograph and film products, installs, and lifestyle content (in-shop or at events)
  • Engage with followers by responding to comments, DMs, and brand mentions
  • Research trends, hashtags, and competitor activity within the motorcycle and trucking communities
  • Help coordinate with riders, truckers, and influencers for user-generated content and partnerships
  • Track basic performance metrics (reach, engagement, follower growth)
  • Support the marketing team with campaign ideas and content calendars

ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE:

  • Reports to: Manager, Engineering

QUALIFICATIONS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be substituted for the expected levels of education and experience required.

Education and/or Experience:

Expected: Currently pursuing/recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Preferred: Extensive Experience creating short-form reels/TikToks as well as longer YouTube-style content

Communication Skills:

  • Must be able to read, write and comprehend the English language.

Other Skills:

  • Photo/video editing skills (Adobe,CapCut, or similar)
  • Experience with Meta Business Suite
  • Strong writing skills with an ability to match brand voices
  • Self-starter who can take initiative and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work on-site at our facility(Lincoln, NE)
  • Some travel to industry events
  • Portfolio submission isrequired- motorsports or automotive work is a bonus
