Job description

SME's Co-op assignment begins in mid - June and requires a commitment to work full-time though early-December 2026. There is no minimum number of years of college education to apply for our Co-op program, but our Summer Internships are only available to those who have previously completed a Co-op with SME.
Your Co-op experience begins with an orientation/training period lasting several weeks followed by on-the-job training with full-time SME Team Members.
Responsibilities
  • Learn and apply modern data science tools and techniques using Fabric.
  • Contribute to data pipelines, ETL processes, and automation efforts under guidance.
  • Support the development of data models and business metrics.
  • Assist in building dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI.
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to understand data needs.
  • Validate data accuracy and document datasets, transformations, and logic.

Requirements
  • Experience with Python (Pandas), SQL, and Power BI.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, SharePoint, and Teams.
  • Basic understanding of data concepts, analytics, and problem-solving.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Clear communication skills and ability to ask questions.
