Job Description:
We're looking for a (Human) Member of Technical Staff specializing in backend engineering. We're seeking sharp engineers who value high-quality code, thrive in collaborative teams, and are excited by rapid innovation.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Design and build backend APIs and services that power our AI agents and operations tooling
  • Ship user-facing features end-to-end (from data model to API to UI)
  • Improve reliability, observability, and performance across the stack
  • Collaborate closely with design, ops, and risk/compliance to ship safe, compliant features
  • Write tests, enforce code quality, and participate in design/review discussions
  • Help evolve our engineering standards and product development process

Minimum Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of full time professional, non-internship experience in full-stack or backend engineering
  • Experience with backend development (Python, Go)
  • Strong code quality habits (testing, reviews, docs) and a product mindset

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in FinTech, Risk Management, or Compliance is beneficial but not mandatory
  • Experience with LLM/AI-powered products, event-driven systems, or data pipelines
  • Security, privacy, and auditing best practices
  • Bonus points if you were an ex-founder
