2027 Internship - Account Manager (Able - Mesa, AZ)

Description

Why This Internship

As an intern with Textron, you'll gain hands-on experience while exploring your interests and building new skills. You'll be supported and challenged to contribute in meaningful ways - working on real projects alongside experienced professionals to prepare for future success.

JOB SUMMARY:

Candidate will learn how to enter and maintain customer account information into Able Aerospace account management systems. Maintains department's filing and recordkeeping. Collaborates and strengthens relationships with the Sales, Pricing, Purchasing, and Operations teams in regard to customer's work and purchase request.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Creates new and maintains existing customer accounts by compiling, reviewing, and entering data into account management systems to ensure accuracy of customer information.
  • Suspend and/or close customer accounts based upon account status.
  • Review and identify areas of improvement in processes and documentation practices.
  • Understand, extract, and improve the presentation of KPI metrics within the account management team.
  • Review and analyze the strength of accounts based upon volume of work, revenue, quality, and customer service experience.
  • Special assignments and additional duties as required.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:

Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Aircraft Management, Business Management, or other related field.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Good computer skills with a focus on the Microsoft 365 Suite
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work in a team environment to meet department level objectives

Applicants must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S. for Textron Aviation at the time of making application, and visa sponsorship is not available for this position, including for F-1 students and J-1 exchange visitors who will need employment sponsorship.

Summer internships are 40 hours per week typically from late-May to early-August lasting 10 weeks.

Candidates must be able to work onsite for the entirety of the internship program unless approved otherwise by the hiring manager.
