Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Assistant Project Manager (EEE) in Germantown, WI. The Assistant Project Manager supports an experienced manager in executing electrical testing and construction projects with values exceeding $100M across the renewable energy, manufacturing, and data center markets. The ideal candidate holds a technical degree and 2-5 years of construction management experience, focused on mastering project pursuits, financial management, and logistics to transition into an independent leadership role.

Annual Salary: $80,000 to $90,000 Annually BOE
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to project pursuits by learning to estimate, review quotes, and identify value engineering opportunities for proposal generation.
- Manage project documentation including RFIs, purchase order logs, shop drawings, change orders, and field testing logs.
- Collaborate with internal departments, general contractors, and various trades to facilitate effective project management.
- Monitor project schedules and logs to ensure milestones and deadlines are consistently met.
- Assist with task finances, including the development of change orders and forecasting work progress.
- Aid in project logistics, including the procurement and delivery of specialized equipment and materials.
- Establish and strengthen connections with current and prospective clients to support business development efforts.
- Actively assist the project manager in developing and implementing project initiatives for high-value contracts up to $100M+.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in Construction Management or a related field, with electrical construction experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word); knowledge of MS Project is a plus.
- Familiarity with industry software such as Bluebeam, Procore, Plangrid, Accubid, and Primavera P6 or other scheduling software.
- Strong analytical, judgment, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Solid prioritization and organizational abilities with the capacity to satisfy concurrent deadlines.
- Self-motivated with the initiative to grow professionally toward an independent Project Manager position.
- Availability to regularly travel to project sites within the Midwest region as required.
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly required to stand, sit, and walk for prolonged periods in both office and construction environments.
- Ability to use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and other essential equipment.
- May need to occasionally climb stairs and/or ladders while visiting job sites.
- Occasional stooping, kneeling, and bending to inspect field testing and work progress.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds on occasion.
- Must be able to work in inclement weather conditions and be exposed to heights and loud noises on project sites.
Pay Transparency:
The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $80,000 to $90,000 annually, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
