(RTFNetwork) is a community-based behavioral health organization dedicated to providing culturally responsive, trauma-informed services to underserved individuals and families across the Baltimore region. Our comprehensive services include an Outpatient Mental Health Clinic (OMHC), Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP), Medication Management, Supported Employment, and expanding Substance Use Disorder (SUD) programming.

Position Overview

RTFNetwork is seeking a Clinical Supervisor - Counselor (LCPC) to provide high-quality clinical supervision and leadership within our OMHC program. This position will report directly to the Lead Mental Health Clinician and will play a critical role in supporting LGPCs, interns, and other clinical staff in delivering ethical, effective, and compliant services.

This is a leadership opportunity for a clinician who is passionate about mentorship, workforce development, and maintaining clinical excellence while helping to train the next generation of behavioral health professionals.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide clinical supervision to LGPCs in accordance with Maryland Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists requirements
  2. Provide supervision, mentorship, and structured learning support to graduate-level clinical interns, ensuring alignment with academic program requirements and professional standards
  3. Review, approve, and sign clinical documentation, including progress notes, biopsychosocial assessments, and treatment plans
  4. Ensure all clinical duties, documentation, and supervisory responsibilities are completed in a timely manner in alignment with RTFNetwork policies
  5. Support clinicians and interns in diagnostic formulation, treatment planning, and implementation of evidence-based practices
  6. Ensure compliance with COMAR regulations, Medicaid requirements, and Joint Commission standards
  7. Provide clinical guidance on risk assessment, crisis intervention, and ethical decision-making
  8. Collaborate with the Lead Mental Health Clinician and interdisciplinary leadership team to maintain program quality
  9. Assist in onboarding, training, and professional development of new clinicians and interns
  10. Monitor clinician and intern productivity, documentation timeliness, and quality of care delivery
  11. Participate in team meetings, case consultations, audits, and performance improvement initiatives
  12. Maintain a small clinical caseload as needed to support program operations
  13. Perform additional duties as assigned to support clinical excellence and organizational goals


Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution
  • Active Maryland LCPC license in good standing
  • Board-approved Clinical Supervisor for LGPCs in Maryland (required)
  • Experience supervising or training graduate-level interns or early-career clinicians strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years post-licensure clinical experience
  • Strong knowledge of DSM-5-TR diagnosis, treatment planning, and evidence-based interventions
  • Experience in OMHC, outpatient, or community-based behavioral health settings
  • Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Strong ability to mentor, teach, and evaluate developing clinicians
  • Commitment to trauma-informed, culturally responsive care
