Are you looking for an exciting student opportunity full of meaningful, diverse, and challenging assignments working alongside industry leading professionals?You will be part of a driven, and collaborative team completing important projects while receiving the mentorship, knowledge, and experience to develop the skills you need to build an exciting career.

This student position is with our Workforce Analytics and Strategic Planning Team. In this role, the student will perform HR analytics and programming tasks.

Note: The application deadline for this position is August 23, 2026, at 11:59 pm MST.

What you'll do

  • Develop scripts and custom applications to automate and optimize existing HR processes.

  • During their term, they will develop and execute programming, custom application development, data engineering, data analytics, statistics, and human resources skills.

  • Support with data/ platform migration to the new Azure Databricks platform.

Who you are

Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum qualifications:

  • Legally authorized to work in Canadafull-time for the duration of your work term and able to produce documentation upon application (e.g., work visa)

  • Available to begin work in September 2026

  • Experience with any of the following systems/skills is considered an asset:

  • R/RStudio, Python/VSCode, GitLab, Databricks, DBeaver

  • Agility, Communication, Problem-solving, Integrity, Innovation, Teamwork

Education

  • Must be enrolled in a Business HR, Computer Science, Data Science or Data Engineering Undergraduate Program at an accredited post-secondary institution at the time of intended work term and returning to full-time studies after the work termOR registered in an accredited post-secondary co-op or internship program for the duration of the work term

  • Candidates currently enrolled in either a Masters or Ph.D. program at an accredited post-secondary institution may also be considered

  • New graduates are not eligible for student opportunities.
