An Internship in Probabilistic Risk Assessment (PRA) is a temporary position where students or recent graduates gain hands-on experience analyzing and quantifying risks associated with complex systems, often in industries like nuclear energy, aerospace, or engineering. You may also help prepare reports or presentations that communicate risk findings to other teams. Collaboration with engineers, data scientists, and subject matter experts is common, as risk assessment often draws on diverse expertise to ensure accurate modeling and interpretation. This hands-on experience provides valuable insight into both the technical and communicative aspects of risk assessment in a professional setting.
