Job Title: Procurement Intern

Job Purpose:
This Internship is broadly focused in scope and may cover the areas of Negotiation, Spend Category Strategy Development and Execution, Supply Continuity, Data Compilation and Analysis, and Commodity Market Analysis.
We have one goal: getting you concrete experience with opportunities to shine! This is a full-time, paid internship position where you will work on real projects with real results! We also offer additional opportunities from social events and facility tours to lunch gatherings with company executives and other interns that allow you to network and gain a broader understanding of First Quality and its functions. At the conclusion of the summer, all interns will present their achievements to leaders at their location.
Potential Projects:

  • Development and execution of at least one Formal Category Strategy in an assigned area of spend
  • Commercial Terms Negotiations
  • Contract Compliance Projects
  • Global Commodity Data Compilation, Analytics, and Forecasting
  • Supply Continuity Efforts such as Risk Assessments, Supplier Capacity Discussions, etc.
  • Process Optimization and Documentation
Experience / Skills:
  • Demonstrated progress toward a Bachelors' degree in Economics, Management, Marketing, Financial Management, related field of study, or STEM degree
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA for Business majors, Minimum 2.5 GPA for STEM majors
  • Sophomore standing or greater by end of Spring 2026 semester
  • Highly motivated, agile, team player with good critical thinking skills and an ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.
