These placements are often part of academic programs and provide hands-on training, skill development, and networking opportunities in a specific field. The primary goal is to bridge the gap between theoretical learning and practical application, helping participants gain valuable insights and improve their employability. Placements can vary in length and may be paid or unpaid, depending on the organization and academic institution.
