This position is responsible for developing and maintaining data dashboards, managing reporting processes, and supporting field and engineering teams with analytical tools to inform decision-making. By leveraging industry-specific platforms such as WellView and ProdView, as well as modern data visualization and analysis tools like Power BI and Spotfire, the analyst enables enhanced visibility into operations. The position combines technical expertise with a strong understanding of oilfield operations, offering strategic recommendations backed by data integrity and compliance awareness.
Responsibilities:
Data Management & Reporting

  • Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and integrity across multiple platforms and systems through routine audits and quality checks.

Operational Analysis & Insight Generation
  • Analyze production volumes, downtime events, and equipment performance to identify inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions to the operations team.
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly operations to spot trends or anomalies and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Work closely with operations, engineering, and field teams to contextualize data and provide targeted insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.

Collaboration & Communication
  • Serve as a data liaison between field personnel, engineers, and management, translating technical findings into actionable business recommendations.
  • Provide training and support to team members on dashboard tools, data entry protocols, and reporting systems.
