Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

Compensation: 60% of Revenue.

We are looking for a dedicated Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team as an independent contractor. This flexible position offers a minimum commitment of 24 hours per week with in-person availability for at least 16 hours per week. While 24 hours is the baseline, we welcome the possibility of additional hours based on availability.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in establishing and expanding psychiatric services, working closely with counselors as part of an integrated care team. The position is structured as a 1099 contract, offering a combination of in-person and telehealth ambulatory work.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care to patients as scheduled.
  • Collaborate closely with the designated physician to ensure effective patient outcomes.
  • Maintain a professional and patient-centered approach at all times.
  • Manages the healthcare of patients with compassion, cultural sensitivity, and preserves dignity and rights.
  • Prescribes medications and non-pharmacological therapies based on the patient's diagnoses, health history, and age.
  • Encourages positive health behaviors through education and counseling.
  • Applies standardized care guidelines in clinical practice.
  • Performs designated procedures.
  • Ensures compliance.

Qualifications and skills:

  • Required Board License โ€“ PMHNP.
  • Ability to commit to at least 24 hours of availability per week.
  • Willingness to work more hours as needed
  • Need to be open with 1099
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated and a self-starter.
  • Ability to function as an effective member of an integrated healthcare team.
  • Two years relevant clinical health experience preferred.
