Position Description & Qualifications Serco is seeking a Tech Writing Intern to join its Common Network Planning Software (CNPS) team. CNPS is one of several subsystems required to support the Wideband Global SATCOM constellation of satellites which provide communication for all US Armed Forces and its allies. CNPS is the system that performs the planning, resource allocation, link budget analysis, distributed collaboration, and scenario dissemination to satellite control systems and the situational awareness/monitoring system. This internship provides hands-on experience in technical communication, documentation management, and systems engineering environments. Key Responsibilities: * Develop, edit, format, and maintain technical documentation, including:
* User guides
* Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
* Work instructions
* System manuals
* Process documentation
* Training materials
* Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and project stakeholders to gather technical information
* Review existing documentation for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with organizational standards
* Create and update diagrams, flowcharts, and visual aids to support written documentation
* Ensure documentation adheres to company branding, style guides, and quality standards
* Support the development of templates and documentation best practices
* Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives. To be Successful in this role, you will have: * U.S. Citizenship
