Position Overview STI-TEC is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Intern in Physics to join our team. This internship presents a unique opportunity to apply your knowledge of physical principles to support projects within the GovCon sector, particularly in Research, Development, Test & Evaluation (RDT&E). You will work alongside experienced professionals, gaining hands-on experience in a collaborative environment focused on mission systems and supporting the warfighter.
Essential Job Function
  • Assist in the analysis and interpretation of physical data related to RDT&E projects.
  • Support the development and testing of physical models and simulations.
  • Collaborate with engineers and scientists to solve complex problems using principles of physics.
  • Conduct literature reviews and research to stay current with advancements in relevant physical theories and applications.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and contribute to project documentation.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to brainstorming sessions on innovative solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Physics, Applied Physics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with computational modeling and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, Python).
