JOB DETAILS:

Job title: Financial Analyst

Location: San Jose, CA

JOB DESCRIPTION:

ROLE: D&G (Data and Governance) Payments Functional Analyst


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform functional triaging of Reconciliation issues to derive new/changed master data combinations (e.g. Processor Vendor), considering impacts to both AFI accounting rules and Recon matches

Perform change control and communicate new/changed master data and identify any impacts to other teams (e.g. BETL)

Triage BETL errors for early insights into master data issues, assign severity based on materiality, and coordinate with other teams (AFI/Recon) for resolution

Analyze impact of new master data changes to various functions (BETL/Recon/AFI), and obtain consensus/sign-off from business

Perform emergency delta data loads in QA to fix and test UAT issues (e.g. Recon mismatch, Payment Flow mapping changes)

Create ITSM tickets (with ALM details) for migrating delta data loads to Prod

Assist users and analyze any technical/adoption issues around MDM UI / workflow functionality (for reference data and payment flow)

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Functional knowledge of financial accounting and reconciliation processes

Financial master data and reference data management in Informatica MDM through UI and backend load process

EXPECTED DELIVERABLES:

User support, Data analysis

Qualifications

Clients main Focus is on Financial / Accounting analyst and Informatica / MDM experience.
