This role designs, prototypes, implements, and supports AI, automation, workflow, reporting, integration, and agentic AI solutions that assist with task execution, workflow automation, decision support, service delivery, and other approved institutional use cases. In addition, the position ensures that all solutions are developed and maintained in compliance with university expectations for data governance, information security, privacy, accessibility, FERPA, records retention, and the responsible use of artificial intelligence.
The successful candidate develops documentation, standards, training materials, and best practices that support the consistent and effective adoption of AI, automation, and enterprise technology solutions. The role participates in solution intake, prioritization, feasibility reviews, risk assessments, and value analysis in collaboration with IT leadership and appropriate governance groups.
